Team Nest Builder says, “Lucky Sussex County!”  Both Ogdensburg and Byram celebrate festivals this Saturday, September 9th on what’s predicted to be a day of sunny skies.


Celebrate sweet Sussex County with 2 festivals this Saturday!

OGDENSBURG DAY

This festival kicks off with a fishing contest at 8:30 am at Heater’s Pond, then continues from noon until 9 pm at Firemen’s Field on Main Street.  There’ll be children’s amusements and rides; food;  crafts;  vendors; and music by The Mudsharks and by rock and blues musician Salvatore Germano Jr.  All events are FREE, although there’ll be a nominal fee for food.


BYRAM DAY

This festival takes place from 11 am to 5 pm at Neil Gylling Park on Mansfield Drive and offers loads of fun!  Food;  music;  on stage performances;  informative exhibits;  merchandise;  children’s games;  a 5K/Family Fun Run;  a “Cool Car and Truck Show” and many other activities fill the day.  Onsite registration for the FREE Byram Day 5K Run is at 10:15 am with the walk starting at 11 am.
