Lake Mohawk Country Club Fireworks
Grab your viewing spot early! Fireworks begin at dusk on Tuesday, July 3rd. Viewing areas on part of the boardwalk are restricted to club members, but everyone is welcome to gather in White Deer Plaza to view the show.
Sparta Township Fourth of July Parade
The Sparta Elks host the Sparta Township Fourth of July Parade at 11 am on Wednesday, July 4th, dedicated to the celebration of the birth of our country as well as recognizing our troops and veterans. The parade line-up begins at East Shore Trail and Twin Elm and the parade ends at the Mohawk Avenue School. Parade awards, refreshments and free hot dogs follow the parade. For more information, contact Sparta Elk Anthony Alfonso at 973-445-5292. The Ski Hawks waterskiing team then performs on Lake Mohawk after the parade, around 11:45 am.
