The High Point Monument sits 1,803 feet above sea level. The monument was built in 1930 to honor our dedicated war veterans. Not only is it a piece of our history, but it offers the most beautiful and serene panoramic views. Atop the 220 foot building, observers get to see rich farmland, the lush Wallkill River Valley in New Jersey, the breathtaking Catskill mountains in New York, and the lovely ridges of the Pocono Mountains in Pennsylvania. A great place to collect your thoughts and enjoy the beauties of nature with that special someone!
