NWAC Something To Look Forward To Next Winter In Vernon

As we all know Vernon Twp. to be the home of Mountain Creek, a hot spot for winter activity enthusiasts. However, has anyone ever wondered what happened to Hidden Valley Ski Resort? Hidden Valley, located right off of RT. 515, went bankrupt back in 2007 due to the powerhouse Mountain Creek became with the public and since then has been abandoned with little hope of revival. Although, there is hope and potential for winter fun again next winter here. NWAC, standing for National Winter Activity Center, signs have been popping up all around the area. The NWAC is said to provide ski instruction programs for over 6,000 youths, a foundation for competitive athleticism with instruction from Olympic skiers, and work to improve health and fitness by way of winter activities!
